Paul Kratter Plein Air Workshop

Class Description:

Three days of Plein Air Painting with Paul Kratter on location in beautiful Humboldt county. 

Materials List:

• Small sketch book & drawing tool
• Portable easel, I use an Open Box M
• Variety of panels , I suggest 8x10, 9x12, 11x14, 12x12
• Variety of brushes, I use Brights 2-8
• Oil Paint;
• cadmium yellow med
• India yellow orange, one of my favorites but not necessary
• cadmium orange
• cadmium red (its ok to use the Hue variety)
• alizarin crimson
• dioxazine purple
• ultramarine blue
• cobalt blue
• sap green
• titanium white
• Turpenoid or Gamsol & small clip-on tin cup
• Paper towels & garbage container
• Utility blade for scraping your palette
