Schroeder grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota- received her BFA from Humboldt State and has her M.A.T in Art Education as well as a M.F.A in Studio Practices with an emphasis in Photography. She received the honor of Graduate Visual Art Student of the Year
from UNLV for her work with The Body Project. The Body Project is an ongoing body of work that explores how photography plays a role in healing trauma. For more information about The Body Project and Schroeder's other work visit her website.
